job skills & experience

data-driven
strategist

From small items like file storage and website bookmarks to larger projects involving multiple teams and people, I develop systems to work as efficiently as possible.

creative
problem-solver

Action without data carries risk. By using data analysis to drive innovation, we can mitigate risk while still learning and advancing. Insights help us solve the biggest problems and find the biggest opportunities.

highly
organized

Having worked in a variety of industries, I’ve seen how solutions can be applied to multiple types of jobs and challenges. My experience allows me to make connections to solve problems.

tech
translator

Communication is key. Data and technical problems can be difficult to communicate to an end user. Translating between technical and non-technical audiences is a skill I used daily at Ansira.

client
relationships

At Ansira, a SaaS company, I worked as a reporting Subject Matter Expert for two large enterprise clients.

Through cross-functional collaboration, we implemented out-of-the-box reporting solutions for one client that was dissatisfied with our reporting. In one year, we completely changed the reporting client relationship for the better.

This included, implementing a brand new custom reporting product and multiple reports, managing a data warehouse restructuring project, and communicating weekly updates to the client.

system
implementation

I worked in two different roles at Big Cedar Lodge and was the first person in each role. To set the foundation, I built systems and documentation so work could be done efficiently.

As the Social Media Specialist, I developed content strategy and a process for promoting various brands, holidays and events throughout the year.

As the Business Analyst, I used DOMO to gather our data into one central data warehouse. From there I built dashboards so department leads could gain insights and make informed business decisions.

business growth opportunities

The Avant Garde’n is a retail and estate liquidation business. When I started there, the store was around 3,000 sq ft with hundreds of consignors and products.

I helped with the transition to a new 8,000 sq ft location with over 1,000 consignors and products. During this move, I researched and implemented a cloud-based inventory and POS system with e-commerce functionality.

From there, I learned how and what data was being captured in order to create custom monthly reports for Consignments and Sales Tax.

continuous
learner

My education is in Accounting but the majority of my job experience is in other industries and roles.

To make these transitions, I had to constantly learn new skills and software that was applicable to each job. A strong track record of teaching myself relevant skills has been a pattern in both my personal and professional experience.

Curiosity and the drive to learn, are skills I will bring with me to any role. I am confident that with the right resources, I can learn additional products and software just like I have done throughout my career.

about me

My husband, Justin, and I live in the Midwest with Kacey, our black lab.

We enjoy going to the gym, hanging out together or doing house projects.

Outside of work, I typically am making something or crafting. I enjoy flipping furniture and making home decor items.

This usually takes up most of my free time but I can also be found thrifting, reading or spending time outside.
